Canyoning and Rafting Adventure

amazing nice guides , we loved our walk and swim in the canyon with fresh cold water from the spring in the mountains . The rafting is great with kids and super fun , the guides where great fun , splashing water fights with the other rafts was exciting. Good food . All in all a 10 out of 10 experience.

My partner and I were picked up at the hotel and driven for 2 hours only to then be informed that our tour was not going ahead because no one else aside from us booked onto it. We were then offered to go onto an alternative 4-in-1 combo tour (which cost £28pp on viator compared to £40pp for this tour) if we paid an extra €25 per person. We were frankly shocked at such a blatant attempt to extort money. The explanation for cancelling our tour also changed throughout the conversation, with poor weather conditions being blamed instead (on a clear, sunny day with no prior rainfall). We managed to explain to the group of men why their approach was dishonest, and eventually we were taken along for the 4-in-1 tour at no additional cost - it was exactly like we expected and the reason why we didn't opt to go on that tour in the first instance. We have contacted the tour operator via WhatsApp to request a refund but the message unsuprisingly was ignored. It is most disappointing to be the victim of a scam and I would strongly discourage anyone from booking with this dishonest tour operator.

If you only want to enjoy canyoning and rafting, go somewhere else. This experience is part of a larger tour and you will have to wait (a lot) while the other guests drive buggies and go zip lining. Either book the full day tour with all activities or do something else, dont waiste your time... As for the activities : - Canyonig : short walk near the river. Very nice views, no thrill, more of a nice strawl. - Rafting : very calm river. We were mostly paddling to progress while they took pictures... Last word of caution : Tornado Rafting is in it to sell you stuff (drinks, snacks, pictures, accessories, ...). Just be aware that the "activities" are set up to sell you stuff. If you like this its fine, if you enjoy nature, go somewhere else!
