Overview
Captain Ducworth has lived in Charleston since 1995. He spent 18 years as a Spanish Teacher at a local highscool before becoming a full-time fishing and tour guide. He loves interacting with guests, is funny and great with kids and grandparents alike!
Captain Nick is a wizard regarding local wildlife! He's a Charleton native with over a decade of experience as a tour guide. Nick has a masters degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Nick's upbeat positive energy is contagious.
Our departure location is very convenient with plenty of parking and clean amenities!
Our boats are roomy and comfortable!
We see dolphins on 99.9% of our tours!
Tide allowing, not too high, we will stop on an uninhabited island to hunt for shells and sharks teeth beneath the Morris Island Lighthouse.

Morris Island Lighthouse
We will depart from the dock and enjoy a leisurely 30 minute cruise through the salt marshes of one of Charleston’s most scenic rivers. You will see a wide array of local wildlife including the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin and numerous species of beautiful estuary birds. Upon arrival to Morris Island, an uninhabited barrier island, you will have a breathtaking view of the famous Morris Island Lighthouse. If the tide isn’t too high, you will have the opportunity to take a stroll on the beach to search for sea shells and sharks teeth, take photos, and soak up the natural beauty of this unique setting. After exploring Morris Island, we will make our way back to the dock via Lighthouse House Inlet and The Folly River.

An amazing boating experience, Captain Nick was knowledgeable about the area; the animals, the history of the land, he provided a scientific lens, as well as very personable!! He made my family feel warm and welcomed!! We got to witness so many dolphins and birds and enjoyed a stroll Morris Island to look for shells and shark teeth!! Would highly recommend this evening tour!

The Captain was fantastic! He made our experience worth every penny. We saw many dolphins, various birds, and even a lighthouse. He was knowledgeable and fun. We had an amazing time and cannot thank him enough. Hope to return soon.
It was fabulous and definitely will do it again ! Informative , fun and just breathtaking sites ! Our guide was so informative and very educated in the marine world and the history of south carolina learned alot all while having a great time ! Nick was amazing ! Such a great experience there is literally nothing bad or negative to write ! Just go do it ! You will not regret it at all
We took entire family of 12 on July 9. Capt. Jody was awesome . He engaged all the kids and kept us all interested. Very knowledgeable of the area and native animals . Well worth the money . Hopefully others will enjoy him .
We had such a great morning with Captain D! We chose the early morning private tour to beat the afternoon heat, and it was definitely the right decision. The weather was beautiful, the scenery was incredible, and we really enjoyed the conversation along the way. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins, and our stop at Morris Island was a huge success—we found multiple shark teeth and had so much fun exploring the beach. From the smooth pick-up to the easy drop-off, everything was seamless and stress-free. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and Captain D made the trip both relaxing and memorable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable way to experience Charleston from the water!
