The Gallello Scotland adventure

The Timberbush four day Isle of Skye Jacobite train and whiskey experience was phenomenal. thanks to our driver and tour guide Jacqueline, who made it even more special. She filled in all the blanks of historical facts and always had a backup plan if Weather was interference for our stops in Scotland. Jacqueline was a true Scottish history encyclopedia. She kept our group active in between stops and was spot on with timing to ensure that we did not miss any of our adventures in Scotland and always had a back up plan one better than the next . She also had a library of restaurants to take the stress off where to eat at each stop. Accommodations each night were adequate, but we didn’t stay long enough to really care about rooms. Sincerest thanks to Jacqueline and Timberbush Tours for this incredible experience

Magical Scottish experience with Timberbush tours

A Magical Scottish Experience with Timberbush Tours – and a Special Shoutout to Paul Santa! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our tour of Scotland with Timberbush Tours, covering the spectacular Isle of Skye, the Jacobite Steam Train and a wonderful whisky experience, was truly one for the memory books. Scotland itself is magical, but having the right guide can transform a good trip into an extraordinary one — and Paul Santa did exactly that! Paul was punctuality personified, organised to the T, incredibly expressive and wonderfully engaging. His knowledge of Scottish history, legends and magical folklore brought every loch, castle, monument, pool and hiking spot alive. From fascinating stories about Scotland’s past to insights into its flora and fauna, he had a way of making every place feel special. What really stood out was the thought he put into the little things. His recommendations for eating places, shopping spots and convenient toilet stops were spot-on and made the journey so much more comfortable. He also made a genuine effort to know each passenger by name and understand their individual preferences, which created a lovely sense of inclusiveness and camaraderie within the group. And then there was the music! 🎶 Paul’s choice of music to complement the landscapes and locations was brilliant. One particularly delightful surprise was hearing a Bollywood song from a film that had been shot at one of the castles we visited — such a fun and unexpected touch! His humour, banter and interactive storytelling ensured there was never a dull moment. He managed to keep everyone engaged while giving us plenty of space to simply soak in Scotland’s breathtaking scenery. And we have to mention Sprinkles — the adorable handmade unicorn created by Paul himself, who became our very special mascot! 🦄 Sprinkles may have been small, but the warmth and personality behind this little creation perfectly captured what made Paul so memorable: a big, generous and warm heart. The Timberbush bus was comfortable, well maintained and made the long journeys easy, while the accommodation provided was clean, comfortable and hygienic. We came away with not just photographs and memories of some of Scotland’s most beautiful places, but also with a real affection for the experience and the people who made it special. A huge thank you to Paul Santa for making our Scottish adventure so much more than a tour. Your enthusiasm, warmth, humour, knowledge and genuine care for your passengers made the entire experience fantastic and truly unforgettable. We would highly recommend Timberbush Tours to anyone wanting to explore Scotland — and if you are lucky enough to have Paul Santa as your guide, you’re in for something extra special! ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Thank you, Paul, Timberbush and, of course, Sprinkles, for the memories! 🦄✨

Thank you so much Jacqueline!

This four-day tour was a birthday gift from my partner, and it totally exceeded my expectations. Jacqueline was an amazing guide from start to finish. Her knowledge of history, geology, and Scottish roots is limitless. She knew every single angle of her country, and it was a real pleasure to listen to her throughout our trip. The tour was packed with things to see and experience. I would absolutely recommend the Jacobite Steam Train, as it was my favourite part of the journey. The Quiraing was my favourite scenery; my jaw dropped when I first saw it. My girlfriend used the accommodation service from Timberbush Tours, and the B&B was beautiful, with an incredible view of Portree. The pick-up and drop-off times were reasonable, so we were also able to rest and relax. I will, of course, choose Timberbush Tours in the future, as it was the best tour operator I’ve experienced, hands down!

Traveling with Santa Paul

We traveled with Santa Paul; It was peak summer and everything was busy but Paul make many strategic plans that maximised our travel and excursion outcomes with his ‘Ninja Stops” to ensure that everyone got the most out of the trip.

A Wonderful Tour with an Amazing Guide

We absolutely loved this tour! It’s such a complete way to experience the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, with so many incredible landscapes and places along the way. We felt like we got a really good sense of the area in just a few days. Jacqueline was a fantastic guide and honestly made the whole experience even better. She has an amazing knowledge of Scottish history, but also knows so much about the legends, myths and stories behind the places we visited. She was funny, outgoing and really easy to spend time with, while also being incredibly organised throughout the whole trip. The itinerary was very well planned, and even though there’s a lot to see, everything felt well-paced. The Jacobite Steam Train was obviously one of the highlights, but the whole tour was full of memorable moments. We came away feeling like we’d seen a really special side of Scotland. I’d definitely recommend this tour, and especially Jacqueline: she was brilliant! ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Lovely trip with Scott B.

We spent a lovely 4 days with Scott B. on the bus. He made sure to never keep us bored, showing all the best views and temples of relief. "Yeeeees!" He was happy to answer all our questions and often shared the answers on the road with all of us. We learned about the history and culture between the stops. He also kept us safe from the sheep and warned us about midges. He even organized a sunny weather for the Dunvegan Castle gardens stop. The whole group was around 16ish people, plus the driver/tour guide. Although the guide had an accent, as Polish tourists, we understood everything well and fully enjoyed the experience. One of the things I really liked about Scott is that whenever we arrived at a new location like Oban or Portree, he made a quick round around the place, showing where we could go for dinner or a drink. Thank you Scott, Give him a raise 🙌
