You’ll begin with a guided walk through the olive groves and the foothills nearby, learning to identify native plants and herbs used in soap and salve-making. Back at the rustic open-air workshop, you'll explore cold-process soap techniques using locally gathered botanicals, oils, and natural extracts. Your host shares stories from years of teaching children and travelers alike: “You can't make soap without first meeting the land. The smell of thyme, the shape of an olive leaf — they tell you what kind of healing it holds.” You’ll learn about distillation, fermentation, and the journey from wild flora to artisan product — all rooted in respect for nature.
