We had an excellent time with Burak. He was incredibly warm and friendly. We felt like he listened carefully to the sort of things we were interested in and adapted his approach accordingly. The highlight for us was the cistern which was incredible, but even a brief stop for traditional Turkish coffee felt like a genuine slice of the real Istanbul. We were collected from our hotel and escorted via the tram to the start of the tour - much appreciated after the previous day being a long day of travelling and landing late into a very strange (to us) city. Some of the attractions were relatively expensive, so given we had a few days to explore, alternatives were suggested, which worked really well for us. Plus some restaurant recommendations also hit the spot. All in all - a definite 5 star tour.
Burak was a wonderful guide! He was super friendly and very informative — he clearly loved his job and it was a genuine joy for him to share the history of Istanbul with us! The variation of things to see was also good, with the blue mosque being a particular highlight. Highly, highly recommend Burak!

Burak was a great guide! On time, professional and very knowledgeable. Willing to customize our trip a bit as the Hagia Sofia had a lot of renovations happening inside that affected viewing so we asked if we could skip it, which we did. Because he is a professional guide, at attractions where we had to pay we were able to skip the line which was very helpful. Highly recommend.
