Safety whitewater rafting in Chiangmai by Khampan Rafting

Incredible experience of white water rafting for 10kms with waterfalls culminated into a sumptuous vegan lunch with fruits and coffee. The luxury pick up Van came perfectly on time. We were received with love and taken for rafting. excellent crew of two young men who took extremely good care of us as we dont know swimming. The photo shoots were done by one of their team who came all through in his motorbike with his high end lens. There was beautiful coordination right from pickup to drop. The price is very reasonable and one can book directly and sit back. Payment at the cruise deck only.

Brilliant experience for all ages! We opted for the 4km journey down the river which was a good choice for our family members ranging in age from 8 to 71 years. 'Mike' from the Khampan Rafting team was playful, funny, reassuring, and highly effective at communicating all that we needed to know. He achieved a perfect balance of tranquil periods observing the river and the sub-tropical forested slopes on either side and the two elephants playing in the water contrasted with brief episodes going through rapids that filled the boat with the muddy water of the monsoon-swollen river. The trip was rounded off by being picked up and returned from the nearby Stay Wild resort in a venerable old pickup that was entirely appropriate for bedraggled rafters.

No need to look for any other operator. The entire team of Khampan Rafting were professional, kind and a lot of fun to share this experience with. The river guides were very safe. We did the 10km rafting option, with 1hr ATV tour afterwards. Highly recommend them and very good value for the price.
