This Sufi Sema Ceremony was educational as well as visually and auditory enriching experience. The venu was excellent. The only improvement I can suggest is to make the explanations shown on the screen easier to understand. I speak both Turkish and English and had difficulty understanding some of the explanations in both languages.
Brilliant experience Very moving and inspiring everyone was quiet and respectful of the ceremony. Great location. Great views of the ceremony which was explained throughout in both Turkish and English. We were encouraged to take photos just no flash photography
What a magical experience. It was just amazing to see them in person and every moment was described in English on a big screen so you could understand the ideology behind what is going on
Beautiful ceremony with English subtitles that really helped us understand what we were seeing. I suggest visiting the museum first then seeing this ceremony afterward. There is a small dervish clothing museum upstairs from the ceremony that was interesting to check out.
It was a once in a lifetime experience for me. The ceremony had so much to learn from. .. I was left speechless after the event.
An awesome experience to be enthralled by the orchestra, the singers and of course the company of dancers who whirl in their trance like state for an hour long performance. The entry cost (250 Lire) was so cheap and I think we got a better overall outcome than the 20. Euro private viewings available
