Side Fishing Activity with Breakfast

This trip was not as described , the description stated that we would be taken to Side Harbour and venture out visiting different bays and fishing them describing the trip as scenic. Stopping off and the boat captain cooking a delicious meal either chicken or fish caught. I was picked up in a old minibus taken down to the river where I was greeted by a grumpy fisherman who did offer me coffee from his flask which I have to say was horrible 🤷 the bus driver then went back to pick up a gentleman who was not at his pick up point and we waited on the rickety old boat for an hour before the the driver returned with gentlemen, the bus driver pulled out a loaf of bread 🍞 and chopped it up into squares and presented it to us as our meal .other customers presented their tickets at less than half the cost via trip advisor 🤷🤷 We ventured down the mangavat river and out into the sea the captain of the boat had provided raw chopped up chicken breast as the only option as bait , which presents a health hazard to the customer. We caught a couple of small fish 🎣 nothing worthy of writing home about and luckily escaped and Campylobactor or e coli from handling the raw chicken. I definitely would not book again , my advice would be to go into Side and down to the harbour it's self book a trip there 🤷 Lesson learned for me I guess

My husband, father in law and two boys aged 12 & 8 went. 11 guests were on the experience altogether. They had the best experience. The captain was funny, entertaining and knowledgeable. They all caught loads. They haven't shut up about it. Highly recommend. Husband said food was nice. Transfer to and from the boat perfect. Highly recommend. Bargain price for a full morning / early afternoon.

Had a very nice morning with this fishing trip. As an experienced fisherman, I didn't know what to expect at first, certainly not the amount, but I can only be positive about this. - you are picked up and dropped off at your hotel - (small) breakfast included Proper fishing gear - beautiful environment to sail and fish - You feel safe with the captain and his (wife?) nice interaction with the children The fish we caught were not big, outliers to 30cm with sometimes mackerel mixed in, but rather better to catch a lot of small fish than nothing at all. I would recommend this trip to everyone, whether you are an experienced fisherman or not. To the captain and his crew; Keep up the great work, super fun!
