Fun experience with Ultimate Athens Hills Climb!

I managed to do the Ultimate Athens Hills Climb with another group and was very happy with the overall experience especially with our guide, George and who made this trip more memorable. We started at the meeting point in front of the National Library and walked towards the Lycabettus Hill and finished off at the Philopappos Hill where we get to experience incredible view of the city especially the Acropolis. Overall, I would highly recommend using this company when travelling to Athens, especially with George for taking us to the locations and he shared his knowledge of the city and we had a good conversation along the way. I am planning on returning to the city next year and will use Ultimate Athens Hills Climb again! – Highly recommended

Morning Athenian Summer Hike

I had such a lovely time on this uniquely curated excursion by George! I come from San Francisco, so it was cool to learn that Athens also had some great hill hikes to get amazing views of the city! George was also very knowledgeable and considerate of our comfort during the heat. We started promptly at 8am which was perfect for a summer day in July. Would recommend this hike to anyone who would like a more off the beaten path experience, as well as something that feels like a solid exercise before your next Greek meal :"P!

The best views in Athens

A great afternoon / evening seeing a different side of Athens, with spectacular views. I met George, a local Athenian who grew up in Australia that guided us through local upscale neighbourhoods and up a hiking track that only locals would know about to one of the best view sights over Athens and the pantheon. The hike wasn’t too strenuous but it does get the blood pumping to burn off the yiros and delicious food. Then you walk past the changing of the guards and through a beautiful garden and finishing up on another great view spot for sunset. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to see a different side of Athens, with great photo opportunities and a friendly local that can give you interesting facts, history and local recommendations whilst in Athens

Superb Hike!

George is an amazing guide! First, all of the basics were perfectly delivered: punctuality, communication, and value. Second, George tailored the hike to my pace, pointing out the best spots for photos and highlighting the history along the way. We enjoyed pleasant and diverse conversation as we went. George hosts a wonderful way to see Athens, all while burning several hundred calories! I highly recommend!!

Unforgettable experience. Would definitely be going again, and couldn't recommend more.

This was one of my best (and most unique) experiences in Athens. George was a great tour guide, taking us on two of the most gorgeous hilltop views of the city. These places weren't touristy, so we got a very clear view of the sea, and all of the landmarks within Athens. He provided an extremely clear explanation of the context and history behind each landmark, with a hint of humour that made the trip all that much better. His knowledge of the city was unmatched, and he provided fantastic recommendations for food, clubs, and other places to visit. I have done many walking tours in Europe (and Athens), and I have to say this one was the most unique. The climbs were relatively easy as well, no physical or athletic background required. If I were to come back to Athens, I would do this trek again. Truly an unforgettable experience that will set the tone for the rest of your trip. Couldn't recommend more.

George is Outstanding. Not Enough stars to rate him!

George is an outstanding guide. Super knowledgeable and extremely personable. We really enjoyed his historical knowledge and his patience and making it fun for our 7 year old to conquer the hills of Athens! We can’t recommend George and the Hills of Athens tour enough.

Wonderful way to experience Athens

I was traveling solo to Athens and I was also looking for something outside but away from busy areas. This outing was perfect! Definitely a workout but completely manageable if you at least walk regularly. George was an incredible guide! Full of history and personal anecdotes. The views are spectacular! My only mistake was not booking a sunset time. George takes you to some beautiful out of the way parts of Athens.
