Wine and olive oil tastings with the locals

This was our 3rd trip to Tuscany with Deborah as our guide ! We have used her with a group of 8 people (2017) , with just my husband and I ( 2024) and now most recently with one other couple joining us in Aug 2026. We continue book Deborah bc she is the absolute best ! She is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about history. She provides great insight and context to every place we visit including the vineyards as she is also a sommelier . Deborah has great relationships with the local vineyards, farms and other sites that she takes her clients to and this sets her apart . Thus particular tour at a local olive oil press was new for us and I’m so glad we did it - definitely a highlight of our trip ! I can’t recommend her enough !

My husband and I spent the day with Deborah having an Italian breakfast (she showed us how to order), tour of the local Market and then wine tasting. It was BY FAR our favorite experience in Italy. Deborah is amazing: knowledgeable, friendly, warm and so responsive to our interests. The market visit focused on mom and pop booths- tasting amazing food and then collecting samples to bring to our winery visit and tasting. PERFECT DAY! What we wanted was to experience what the locals experience- and Deborah made that happen. This is the must do!

What a fantastic tour! If you can only do one or two tours in Tuscany, choose Debora. It felt like a good friend brought me to the wineries and olive groves she loves. So many stories from Debora and from the local owners, that made you feel like family. A huge thank you to Debora, I can’t wait for the next time!

Our day with Debora was an ABSOLUTE highlight of our time in Tuscany. She was warm, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the day with! From tasting Pecorino cheese at a beautiful family-run sheep farm in Pienza to enjoying Brunello wines and a delicious homemade lunch in Montalcino, every stop was memorable. Montepulciano was the perfect ending to a wonderful day. We laughed, learned (she is born and raised in the Tuscan region), and had a blast. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Debora and this tour. Debora is such a warm, friendly, and passionate person, you will love her immediately. She has so much knowledge about history, culture, nature, olive oil, wine, and food and she loves sharing it with her guests. We went to a sheep farm where they make pecorino and sampled 6-7 types of pecorino, we did an olive oil tasting, a wine tasting with lunch, went to Pienza for gelato, and visited the Montepulciano underground. This was one of the most memorable days of our trip. Also, don't forget to book the cooking class with Debora's husband, Ryan!
