Valley of the Kings
Located in Luxor, Egypt, the Valley of the Kings Temple is an architectural marvel that has stood for thousands of years. Temple of Hatshepsut
The Temple of Hatshepsut is an ancient Egyptian temple located on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor. Built in the 15th century BC, it is one of the most impressive monuments from the New Kingdom period in Egypt's history. The temple was dedicated to the sun god Amun and was built by Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh. The temple contains a pillared hall, a hypostyle hall, a chapel dedicated to Hathor, and a sanctuary at the rear of the complex. Colossi of Memnon
The Colossal Colossi of Memnon are two colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III dating back to 1350 BC. It is located on the west bank of Luxor, Egypt, and was originally intended to guard the entrance to the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Each statue is 60 feet high and is made of sandstone from quarries near Cairo. The Colossus of Memnon is famous for the hero Memnon, King of Ethiopia, who fought in the Trojan War. After the temple was destroyed by an earthquake in 27 BC, the statues still stand, and it is now a popular tourist attraction.

A delightful experience, if you don't have a guide, this trip is hard to do without one. We are very happy with the whole experience, especially with our guide Mahmoud, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very professional and passionate about Luxor's treasures. We had an amazing experience visiting the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple thanks to our guide Ahmed. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about Egypt’s history. He explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, bringing the ancient sites to life for both us and our kids. Ahmed was also very attentive and patient, making sure we were comfortable the whole time, especially in the heat. He guided us efficiently through the sites, helped us avoid crowds, and made sure we saw the most impressive tombs and viewpoints.
Ahmed was very knowledgeable and personable and he was very-well spoken in English. He was waiting for me in the lobby; I appreciated his promptness. His car was clean and roomy, and his driver was pleasant and also spoke English. He swiftly took me through the ticket agents and to the best tombs in rhe Valley of the Kings. He was so helpful that after I told him my wife was having stomach problems, he stopped at a pharmacy on the way back to the hotel to get some medicine for her. I definitely recommend him as a tour guide while in Luxor.

Takes you back to another world. The tombs were amazing and temples also. I found Luxor to be such a nice welcoming change from the energy of Cairo. My tour guide Ahmed was the absolute best. So knowledgeable and friendly. Told me all about the history of ancient and current times and also took me to an authentic restaurant to have lunch so definitely recommend him also.
