Blending workshop and tour of the chateau

Our guide was charming young lady who brought great vibrance & patience to our blending. It became very clear when trying other amateur ’enologists’ the complexing of getting the ratio’s correct.

A great find for an authentic viewing of the whole wine experience. Solen was a fantastic, knowledgable and generous host, and we thoroughly enjoyed creating our own wine and exploring the vinyard.

The tour was brilliant, our guide was incredible and the wine mixing was great fun! A really great experience that I would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time at Chateau Saint-Barbe with Solène. She was an excellent guide and showed us the around the property before bringing us to our tasting. We learned a lot about wine and had a complete blast blending and bottling our own! The tour is great for the value. We took the bus from Bordeaux--it was straightforward and the bus drops you off very close to the Chateau. Solène accommodated our bus schedule, allowing us to start and end early.

It was an excellent experience. Solne was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were the only attendants on that day and she gave us a very interesting tour of the vineyards and the chateau. Afterwards we enjoyed a lot the experience of the blending workshop and came back home with a bottle of our own blended wine. Definitely recommended!
