After a tour of the chateau,,head to the blending workshop. Like our cuvée Symbiose, born from the blending of different vintages, we will guide you in the creation of your own wine. You will discover the secrets of blending to create your own nectar and then take home your personalized bottle as a souvenir. An original, fun and educational wine activity!

Hva du får oppleve
Lag din egen vin og ta flasken med deg hjem! Etter en kort omvisning på slottet, etterfulgt av en smaking av vinene våre, dro vi til blandingsverkstedet. I likhet med vår Symbiose cuvée, født av blanding av forskjellige årganger, vil vi veilede deg i å lage din egen vin. Du vil oppdage hemmelighetene bak blanding for å lage din egen nektar, og deretter ta med deg din personlige flaske hjem som en suvenir. En original, morsom og lærerik aktivitet ! Det kreves minimum 2 personer for at aktivitet skal kunne gjennomføres.

Wish we could give it a six star rating. Host had completed the harvest overnight and into early morning was still a joy to listen to and enthusiastic about his passion for his vine making. Time went so quickly as you really enjoyed the fun of doing the blending with friends and the bonus of having your own personal ‘vintage’ at the end. Shop very reasonable and looking forward to reminiscing on this trip when back home tasting the spoils of our day.
It was a great experience at a great price. I learned a lot and the owner was very nice. I recommend it a lot to anyone interested in the topic.
Solène gave us an incredible tour of the winery and expertly guided us through the wine blending workshop. The experience was both unique and amazing, with Solène’s knowledge and passion making it truly special. Highly recommended!
Our guide was charming young lady who brought great vibrance & patience to our blending. It became very clear when trying other amateur ’enologists’ the complexing of getting the ratio’s correct.
A great find for an authentic viewing of the whole wine experience. Solen was a fantastic, knowledgable and generous host, and we thoroughly enjoyed creating our own wine and exploring the vinyard.
The tour was brilliant, our guide was incredible and the wine mixing was great fun! A really great experience that I would recommend to anyone!
We had a wonderful time at Chateau Saint-Barbe with Solène. She was an excellent guide and showed us the around the property before bringing us to our tasting. We learned a lot about wine and had a complete blast blending and bottling our own! The tour is great for the value. We took the bus from Bordeaux--it was straightforward and the bus drops you off very close to the Chateau. Solène accommodated our bus schedule, allowing us to start and end early.
It was an excellent experience. Solne was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were the only attendants on that day and she gave us a very interesting tour of the vineyards and the chateau. Afterwards we enjoyed a lot the experience of the blending workshop and came back home with a bottle of our own blended wine. Definitely recommended!
