Bei diesem zweistündigen Gourmet-Spaziergang auf dem Plateau von Croix-Rousse hilft Ihnen Ihr Sommelier dabei, die Gegend wie ein Einheimischer zu erleben: Sie verkosten und lernen, anstatt nur Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen. Begeben Sie sich zum Gros Caillou, um den Panoramablick auf die Stadt zu genießen, und überqueren Sie dann die Place de la Croix-Rousse und die Grande Rue, die alte Einkaufsstraße des Dorfes. Während Sie die verschiedenen Lyoner Spezialitäten probieren, erklärt Ihnen Ihr Sommelier diese. Sie wählen Ihre Wurstwaren in der Metzgerei, probieren die berühmte rosa Praline im Maison Pralus und suchen sich Käsesorten im Käsegeschäft aus, indem Sie einen Umweg von der Hauptstraße durch die ruhigen Gassen des Plateaus nehmen. Our tour guide and new friend, Louis, was exceptional! Saying he was knowledgeable is an understatement. He walked us through local routes of Lyon, explaining the history and also local cultural information. He was incredibly personable, walked with our pace, and made us feel immersed. He guided us to the best fromagerie and butcher shop, where he selected the most popular choices and he also asked us our preferences as well. We ended up at the most beautifully intimate cellar where we enjoyed our charcuterie. Louis walked us through how to pair specific wines with certain cheeses, he is a true sommelier! We ended up leaving with full bellies, full hearts, and a grocery bag full of wine and other goodies. We would come back to Lyon, just to do this tour again! 10/10 experience!
Our tour guide, Louis, was seriously the best. He was so informed of the ins and outs of Lyon. He took us to places that weren’t so crowded and we ended the tour with an intimate charcuterie and wine pairing experience. I reccommend you book this tour immediately! Louis was so knowledgeable about wine, a true Sommelier!!! He walked us through how to pair different wines with different cheeses and meats. We were left in awe! Louis was so personable and kind. He walked with our pace and made us feel like friends each step of the way. Please book!

Louis was amazing! From the walk through the city and thorough explanations of its history, to showing us its boutique and special gastronomy throughout - it was so special. We were then educated about wine and how to pair it with the selected foods. He was so knowledgeable and we found it so easy to learn and understand the information he presented. If you are visiting Lyon, this is worth your time and money if you’re looking for something that is dedicated to the city and its history - but without the tourist traps! Thank you Louis, we hope to be back!

Could not have been a better experience. We were able to try and pair half a dozen cheeses, a few charcuteries, and some pastries. Learned some history as well. Great time, 10/10.
