Apa yang anda akan lakukan
Step into the world of the samurai with professional instructors by your side. Beginners are welcome! The instructors are professional action actors, and instead of real sword fighting, you'll safely practice samurai movements using training swords. You can choose between a private and a group. Group class lets you join aspiring Japanese actors learning samurai action. Watch, then practice alongside them while interacting with Japanese students. The workshop starts with warm-ups, then moves on to fundamental techniques like gripping, holding, and swinging a sword. Once you master the basics, you'll pair up with a professional samurai for an action-packed scene. You'll also witness a powerful samurai demonstration up close. At the end, take memorable photos with the samurai to preserve your experience. Even just observing can be enjoyable! We don’t have reviews on this site yet, but we have been offering this activity for many years on other platforms. We are confident that you will have a satisfying experience! Join this unique workshop in central Tokyo, easily accessible from Tokyo Station, Ginza, and Tsukiji. Don’t miss this chance to experience the spirit of the samurai!

I normally don’t write reviews but this is simply an amazing experience. From the katana history to the sparring practice, every moment was engaging, fun, fascinating. Getting to fight against a professional actor and learning different stances and techniques is an unforgettable experience. I researched several other samurai experiences in Tokyo and this is without a doubt one of the best ones. Dai and Kume, thank you for this incredible experience
Dai-san and Kume-san were wonderful sensei’s for our Samurai experience! They were patient, friendly and highly skilled, including with young kids. We got to learn about the Kitana (samurai sword), disassemble and assemble one and basic kitana sparring techniques, all in a safe and fun environment. Would highly recommend to anyone!
The best experience I had in Tokyo. I wrote a lengthier review on tripadvisor if you want to read it www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g1066444-d28879505-r1043095143
I booked this experience online via viator and it was one of the highlights of my trip. The team were incredible and made us all feel really welcome. Sense Dai was great at explaining it all and a great teacher. And when most experiences focus on learning simple moves or small things, they full on taught us how to spar as well as a series of attacks and defenses. It was a true training session and a great experience all around. If you are lucky and there is space in the session, you habe to attend it on your trip to Tokyo.
This was one of the highlights of our trip. Dai was the best hosts ever. What a pleasant, polite and wonderful guy! We had a blast. Would definitely do it again!
We had an amazing time at this samurai experience in Tokyo! The staff was incredibly fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history and techniques of the samurai, and the basic training and practice session were both exciting and easy to follow. It was such a unique and memorable experience — definitely one of the highlights of our trip. They also take pictures and videos of your experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!
I had an amazing time at the samurai experience class! The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and passionate—you could really feel their love for samurai culture. They explained the katana structure clearly, then guided me patiently through proper sword handling, stances, and cutting techniques. Everything felt authentic yet safe, and they happily answered all my questions and took photos. By the end, I left with new skills, deeper respect for bushido, a samurai acting video and a huge smile. Highly recommend this to anyone curious about samurai arts—truly one of the best experiences in Japan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The team was absolutely amazing. Charming, educational, and they provided a good workout at that. I can't recommend this experience enough.
