Tokyo: Samurai Adventure! Authentic Sword Action Experience

I booked this experience online via viator and it was one of the highlights of my trip. The team were incredible and made us all feel really welcome. Sense Dai was great at explaining it all and a great teacher. And when most experiences focus on learning simple moves or small things, they full on taught us how to spar as well as a series of attacks and defenses. It was a true training session and a great experience all around. If you are lucky and there is space in the session, you habe to attend it on your trip to Tokyo.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Dai was the best hosts ever. What a pleasant, polite and wonderful guy! We had a blast. Would definitely do it again!

We had an amazing time at this samurai experience in Tokyo! The staff was incredibly fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history and techniques of the samurai, and the basic training and practice session were both exciting and easy to follow. It was such a unique and memorable experience — definitely one of the highlights of our trip. They also take pictures and videos of your experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

I had an amazing time at the samurai experience class! The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and passionate—you could really feel their love for samurai culture. They explained the katana structure clearly, then guided me patiently through proper sword handling, stances, and cutting techniques. Everything felt authentic yet safe, and they happily answered all my questions and took photos. By the end, I left with new skills, deeper respect for bushido, a samurai acting video and a huge smile. Highly recommend this to anyone curious about samurai arts—truly one of the best experiences in Japan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
