Excellent walking tour about Women’s History in London and the injustices they suffered as well as succeeded.

We have recently decided to learn more about London - a city we live in and thought Women working in London would be interesting and it was Fantastic. Emily met us on time and there were only four participants. More like a private tour. Emily was fun, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and explained comprehensively. She was also able to listen and expand and answered all of our questions, of which there were many. It was quite long in duration, but was worth it and gave us a good excuse to stop in Spitalfields Market afterwards. Some of the history I knew roughly but to have it expanded and make it pertinent to the lives we live today was great. I would recommend Emily and the tour 100% and will look to see what other tours we can do.

Great experience

Wonderful tour, very informative and well presented focussing on lots of less known figures and facts. Easy to find meeting point and reasonable pace and distance.

Bringing life to London’s history of women

What a fabulous tour! Such a privilege to be guided by Becky with her passion and extensive and accessible knowledge of the history of women in London. I have been through some of these areas before but the tour brought it alive - thanks so much Becky

Untold Stories, Unforgettable Women

A truly fascinating and highly recommended tour that brings to life the untold, often-forgotten stories of the remarkable working-class women who helped shape the East End of London. We visited the places where these women fought to improve working conditions and build a safer, more equal world. Our guide Becky was knowledgeable and engaging, bringing these extraordinary women's stories to life in a way that was both easy to follow and thoroughly enjoyable.

My new favorite thing!

Walking through a part of London new to me and only hearing stories and histories of women is my new favorite thing. The tour is well researched and expertly told. Women's stories need to be shared again and again and Women of London is doing their part towards this goal.

Fabulous

Within 10 minutes of the start of this tour I knew it was going to be fantastic and I'd be signing up to do all the tours! Becky was a wonderful guide for our group including my 19 year old daughter. So much fascinating detail delivered in a really accessible way - Becky knows her stuff but more importantly she is a great storyteller with the ability to pick out just the right amount of detail at each spot and then answer follow-up questions when you want to know more. What a wonderful way to spend a damp drizzly March Sunday morning. Highly recommend.
