E-læring vil blive afsluttet på forhånd for de uddannelsesmæssige elementer, på dag et møde med instruktør for at gennemgå papirarbejde, diskutere det undervisningsmateriale, der skal styrkes. Bliv udstyret til scuba-udstyr og deltage i pooltræning. Dag to mødes på stranden for træningsdykker 1 & 2, dag 3 mødes på stranden for sidste træningsdykker 3 & 4. Efter vellykket færdiggørelse modtager du din logbog og certificering for åbent vand scuba diver For at kvalificere dig til denne aktivitet skal du være over 10 år eller ældre og have et rimeligt kondition og ikke have nogen medicinske tilstande overhovedet. Alle børn under 18 år skal være under opsyn af en forælder, der skal deltage i denne dykkeaktivitet. Dykning inden for 24 timer efter flyvning anbefales ikke. Alle deltagere skal udfylde et sundhedsspørgeskema inden dykning. Nogle allerede eksisterende medicinske tilstande (f.eks. Astma, hjertesygdomme osv.) Kan forhindre dig i at dykke. Charles is very experienced, very knowledgeable of the dive sites across Phuket , an ex serviceman from the UK he has dived all over the world and been an instructor since 2000. With tips about where to go in middle America and California, he even found a missing WW2 plane in Loch Ness and offered closure to the families of the fatal accident decades after the fact. Very generous with his knowledge, and I was lucky enough to have him as my personal instructor when others made the not bother with only one student. It’s the off season in phuket so many other instructors would wait until they could book multiple students on their dives. Now Padi open water certified, very confident, and having swum with leopard sharks, turtles, lion fish, and sighted many fish and corals I need to avoid to stay safe , I gotta say I can’t fault the training, detail, and knowledge I have is all down to the thorough and fun training of one very clever and talented Scottish fella. Completely unsteriotypically generous. (Sorry Charles had to remind you of the stingy Jock joke). Oh and special thanks to the boat crew , great food, friendly assistants, and awesome dive sites.
Charles from Kiwidivers was great with us. He made us feel comfortable and took us through all the tasks for our open water certification. He was very reliable and always felt that he was very organized and professional. His program gave us 6 sea dives and we had a great time and saw so much! Booked our 2 days boat diving with Kiwidivers from UK before we got to Thailand. Booking couldn't have been easier - Charles was knowledgeable and really helpful. My daughter had to complete her open water dives for Padi Open Water certification and we completed 6 dives over 2 days in some of the most spectacular locations including Phi Phi. Charles is a very experienced and patient instructor and the organisation, kit etc was first class. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kiwidiver Centre and Charles if you are thinking about diving in Phuket....plus the diving experience is off the scale!
When contacting Kiwi Divers, we had immediate assistance from Charles, the store manager and booked our course. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. The boats we were on for our dives were spacious and had fantastic meals. The equipment from Kiwi Divers was in very good condition. Charles was a fantastic instructor, very detailed, and tells you the why of things and real-life scenarios when teaching the techniques, safety skills, and equipment usage. When in open water, he guides you through everything and makes you feel safe even if you have never dived before, swimming between corals, showing you really cool marine life, and taking pictures of you! I highly recommend taking the Open Water Course with him, and I can't wait to be back in Thailand to dive more and maybe do the Advanced Course with the most experienced instructor in Phuket!
I just finished my Open Water Diver Course with Charles and Kiwidivers. Charles was absolutely amazing and competent as my instructor. I had a personal 3 day session with him and i felt super safe and this made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. Charles was always extremely patient with me given that this was my first time diving. He made the process super easy and smooth. Would be recommending his center to my friends and family - would love to do my advanced course with him as well.
I am on this trip alone with my 12 year old son, I already had this on my bucket list, I felt completely confident with Charles to take care of him and me. The instructions are clear and precise and he has all the experience you can imagine, more than 20 years diving, we did all the written and practice tests in the pool, it was 3 days full time, we are very happy and grateful for this experience!!
