We booked the Private Biblical Tour of Ancient Corinth & Isthmus Canal for two couples. Our guide was Yannis who had degrees in history and philosophy. I would book him again and suggest that others request him. He was that good. Personable, easy to understand and sensitive to the needs of our group. It was a full day packed with information, delivered in beautiful stories, shared in various locations around Corinth. I gained more insight from this tour than the previous two visits put together to Corinth. To top it off, we asked for a lunch recommendation and he took us to a delightful local restaurant right on the beach at the Aegean Sea! Could not have hoped for more from this day.
peter Kleioufis Was the best. Very pleasant and informative. Highly recommend.
The day started with a pick up at our hotel- so convenient. We were so excited to tour ancient Corinth and experience where apostle Paul stood. Our private driver and guide was Peter. He was extremely knowledgeable in Paul’s history, shared with us Greek history which prepared us for the tour. (While driving) So it made the drive go by so fast. Peter was very kind, generous and was also interested in our country. (USA) Paul gave us time to have lunch before we headed back to Athens. On the way to Corinth we stopped at the canal, bridge, and then Acient Corinth. It was very memorable and a pleasant experience
★★★★★ My wife and I had an outstanding private tour of Corinth, and much of that was thanks to Peter. Peter is a second-generation resident of Corinth with a deep love for his city, its history, and its people. From the moment he picked us up, he treated us with exceptional kindness and hospitality. He had cold bottled water available throughout the day, surprised us with local desserts and coffee in the morning, and made sure we were comfortable at every stop. What truly set Peter apart was the personal care he showed us. He opened the door for my wife at every stop, took photos for us throughout the day, and never made us feel rushed. He adjusted the pace to fit our interests and took time to get to know us as people rather than simply transporting us from one site to another. Peter shared fascinating insights about Corinth, Greece, and the local culture. His pride in his hometown was evident everywhere we went. We especially appreciated the conversations we had throughout the day. As fellow Christians, it was encouraging to spend time with someone whose faith and character were reflected in the way he served others. He took countless photos for us, offered to send them afterward, and even provided his contact information so we could reach out with questions long after our trip was over. The sites of ancient Corinth were incredible, but Peter’s warmth, professionalism, generosity, and genuine care made this one of the most memorable days of our entire trip to Greece. If you have the opportunity to tour Corinth with Peter, do not hesitate. My wife and I give him our highest recommendation. Thank you, Peter, for an unforgettable day.
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide in Corinth! Peter was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and local insight throughout the tour. He was also kind, funny, patient, and made the two of us feel comfortable and welcome. His sense of humor kept the trip enjoyable, and he answered every question with enthusiasm and care. We learned so much while having a fantastic time. Thank you for making our visit to Corinth such a memorable experience Peter!!!
I had a great day with Peter, it was one of the best tours I have been on.
We have been to Athens multiple times and wanted to explore more outside of the city. This was the perfect tour that wasn’t too far away and offer a nice extension of history and beauty. Peter was an excellent guide with abundant knowledge and life experience. I highly recommend him for any tour in Greece.
Yannis was incredible and so much more than just a driver. His knowledge and ability to share the experience were matched by his enthusiasm. He went far beyond what was expected. Christina was also excellent. The overall experience could not have been better
